Celebrate 2015, a Tech.co production, was a three day journey and tech conference in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, October 4 to Wednesday, October 7. At this event, attendees learned, discovered and engaged directly with advisors, coaches, influencers, investors, startup experts, founders and industry thought leaders. This was Reinventing Events third time producing Celebrate!
In its third year, Celebrate 2015 had a lively mix of startup founders, entrepreneurs, educators and technophiles from around the world come together to celebrate entrepreneurship. Participants enjoyed workshops, mentor office hours, pitch practice and heard from tech industry leaders. Attendees gained new tools, resources, knowledge, connections and friends.
This year Celebrate started on Sunday to allow for early registration and excursions–a new spin on the event. These excursions consisted of a variety of fun activities in the DTLV area on Sunday and during breaks throughout the conference. Attendees could choose from activities including Trikke Tours, yoga, professional head shots, ziplining, barista training, a Zappos tour, wine tasting, mixology class, and more! There was also an Opening Party on Sunday where attendees mingled at Commonwealth, a bar in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas.
The conference began with a welcome address featuring special guest Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman. Other speakers at the conference included Tony Hsieh, CEO at Zappos, Jason Putorti, Cofounder at Brigade Media, Jermaine Dupri, CEO at So So Def Recordings, Danielle Morrill, CEO & Cofounder at Mattermark, and others who can be found on the event website.
This epic conference did not end with the adventurous excursions and talented speakers they had, Tech.co kept Celebrate attendees intrigued with the Epic Office Hours, Mentor Sessions, Workshops, Startup Showcase & Competition, Happy Hour & Startup Party, and a Closing Rooftop Party.
The conference was hosted in Downtown Las Vegas at INSPIRE, Commonwealth and The Venue with the majority of the conference happening at INSPIRE. Located at one of the most famous intersections in Vegas, INSPIRE is a one-of-a-kind community and event complex. Intimate, yet surprisingly expansive, its heart is the state-of-the art Inspire Theater. Designed to accommodate a wide variety of dynamic, idea-driven speaking and performance events, this theater was perfect for this small-scale production. We want to thank all the staff at INSPIRE for their amazing service throughout the event!
Reinventing Events brings together a talented team of vendors to produce our events and enjoyed working with these vendors on the production: AV Vegas, Jenna Dosch Photography, Fremont East Studios, Elite Catering, Relish Food Trucks, Sonic Promos, Walls360, Digital Lizard, Petting Zoo 2 U, Lush Banners, and Wholesale Lanyards. Below is what each Reinventing Events team member enjoyed most about this production:
Karen Hartline, CEO, Las Vegas
It’s great working with a repeat client, or in the case of Tech.co, a THREE-PEAT client! The attendees at the event are ones that are fans of Tech.co and the work they do. To see them meeting other entrepreneurs and startups from all over the U.S. gave me warm fuzzies. There were great conversations happening throughout the event! It was great to work with Tech.Co to create a space for their community to come and CELEBRATE!
Maria Chalaire, Event Producer, Virginia Beach
I really enjoyed working with Tech.co to produce their third Celebrate. It’s greta to see the event evolve over the years. I also enjoyed seeing how every space was used at INSPIRE. It’s not the largest revenue, but when is maximized it works great for events like this one.
Marie Scimeca, Event Producer, Milwaukee
Since I wasn’t onsite for the event–my favorite part was watching the team pull everything off from afar. It’s different when you’re onsite and focusing on the pieces you’re managing, but seeing the team interact and give updates of plans falling into place is pretty cool.
Debbie Gorov, Event Producer, Las Vegas
Working with the SEM/Wendoh venue management at Inspire Theater and Commonwealth, both beautiful and unique venues. Their team was always very accommodating Also, FOOD TRUCKS ….. love, love, love being able to provide food trucks to conference attendees.
Reinventing Events was thrilled to work with the Tech.co team to produce a successful Celebrate conference!
